Early Years: Pompey Bears Busy Week. A talking book with simple vocabulary and excellent graphics. Produced by Portsmouth EMAS service.

Bears Ahoy. An on line story in Chinese, or Tamil, Bengali, French or Albanian

Buri and the Marrow. A dual language story book from S.E. Asia with ideas for bringing the story alive with use of artifacts. Look inside Buri's bag. An interactive activity to support the story.

Various translated resources for science from the Bracknell Forest EAL & Diversity Team

The BBC has an excellent languages section on it's website. Here you can listen to, and read 12 key phrases in 37 European languages. These include yes,no, welcome, hello, goodbye, pleased to meet you, thank you, my name is, I'm sorry I don't speak ......I need help etc. These can be downloaded into a mp3 player to practice or keep as a reference.
